Cherry Danish - Artistic Coloring Kit
Cherry Danish was created for the April 2021 edition of Colored Pencil Magazine but to be honest, that was after years of visiting my local bakery and thinking “I’ve got to make a class out of these danishes!”

The magazine editor limits tutorials to just eight steps which forced me to gloss over many significant steps. I’ve included everything from the original tutorial here and expanded upon the original information.
Not a fan of cherry pastry filling? My center here is just a generic series of lumps and bumps. Change up the color palette to make apple, blueberry, or even lemon! Get creative!
Suitable for colored pencil, alcohol markers, pastels, watercolor....get creative!
